Some Thoughts on The Parousia

Mat 3:1  In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea,

Mat 3:2  "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

                                                       

Mat 4:17  From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

John the Baptist, Jesus, and the whole New Testament talks about the end of the Jewish age and the immanence of the coming of the kingdom of heaven.  At hand, or soon to take place, or the ax is laid at the root. You can find the nearness of the coming written by every writer of the New Testament.
