Some Thoughts on The Parousia

Mat 10:23  When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next, for truly, I say to you, you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

Thought;

Literature has rules. We apply them when all of what we read is within our thought frame. But there are times that we do not like the obvious and so we want to break the rules so that we can come up with some other meaning for the text. I believe that we have done that in reading Scriptures about the “End Times,” or the “Coming of the Kingdom,” or when “the Son of Man comes.” Let’s just let the Word say what it says, and not try to make something different out of it.
