Mat 24:3 And
as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately,
saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign
of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
The word “world” in this verse is, in the Greek “aion” which
means “age” A better translation is in the NIV version:
Mat 24:3 As he
sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying,
"Tell us, they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of
your coming and the end of the age?" The close of the Jewish age.
