Rom 11:6 But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.
We are brought into God’s kingdom by grace and we are sanctified by that same grace. We don’t start over again every day and try to keep our slate clean. There is no more slate. As Steve Brown said; “God took our slate and He broke it in pieces and threw it away.”
God is not keeping score, granting or withholding blessing on the basis of our performance. The score has already been permanently settled by the cross of Christ! Don’t miss that!
