Col 2:13 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,
Col 2:14 by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.
This does not say that if I go to church every Sunday, and if I put money in the offering, and I have a quiet time every morning, and if I read my Bible every day then I will have my debt paid in full. It says, that it is all nailed to the cross! We have a legal document that has been signed in blood.
