Gal 3:3 Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?
It seems to me that most of us think that we are not really all that bad. We think that surely if I try hard enough I will gain some blessing from God. Did you ever hear that all of your righteousness is as filthy rags before God! We understand that we must trust God for our salvation, but somewhere along the way we reverted to a works relationship with God. Like I said, we know that our best efforts will not get us to Heaven, but we think we can earn God’s blessing in our daily life.
