Joh 10:10 The thief
comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and
have it abundantly.
So you are thinking; “Why don’t I have this abundant life
with the blessing coming one right after the other?”
There may be many reason but one is that so many of us think
of God as Ebeneezer Scrooge; the God who makes us work as much as he can and
pays the least that he can.
We also have the concept that ,we are saved by grace but we
need to earn our blessings and growth by working; like, praying every day, reading
the bible every day, witnessing to some every day, paying are tithes every
week, and on and on we go with our works.
Please don’t hear me wrong I think doing things is a good
thing but not so that you can be more Spiritual or grow closer to the Lord.
