Job 12:16 With
him are strength and sound wisdom; the deceived and the deceiver are his.
Job 12:17 He leads
counselors away stripped, and judges he makes fools.
Job 12:18 He looses
the bonds of kings and binds a waistcloth on their hips.
Job 12:19 He leads
priests away stripped and overthrows the mighty.
Job 12:20 He deprives
of speech those who are trusted and takes away the discernment of the elders.
Job 12:21 He pours
contempt on princes and loosens the belt of the strong.
Job 12:22 He uncovers
the deeps out of darkness and brings deep darkness to light.
What a list of the various people that are listed here!
Deceived, and the deceiver.
Counselors, and judges.
Kings, and priests.
Those who are trusted, and elders.
Princes, and the strong.
So we would be safe in saying that all people are under His
control!
And we also would be safe in saying that His control is in
all matters of creation.
He is the one who is strength and sound wisdom.
He leads.
He looses.
He leads.
He deprives.
He pours contempt.
He uncovers the deeps.
He brings deep darkness to light.
And then, as if that weren’t enough, he goes on to say;
Job 12:23 He makes
nations great, and he destroys them; he enlarges nations, and leads them away.
Job 12:24 He takes
away understanding from the chiefs of the people of the earth and makes them wander
in a pathless waste.
Job 12:25 They grope
in the dark without light, and he makes them stagger like a drunken man.
