Lam 3:38 Is it
not from the mouth of the Most High that good and bad come?
If God is really in control; Why? That is a question that
people ask all the time. They come up with a wide array of answers, some of the
mains ones are;
He must not be in
control. He is the creator alright, but He created everything and sit laws of
nature in place and then stepped back to let us work through life the best we
can.
Or, He would love to help but He really is
not all that powerful and some things just get out of His control.
Or, one that many say
is, “I have not done enough good or I have done too much bad for God to bless
me. Or God is punishing me for something I did yesterday, or today.” That’s
what Jobs comforters accused him of, “Job surely you have sinned” they said,
“repent and God will deliver you.” Even
his wife told him to curse God and die, but Job said to her; "You speak as
one of the foolish women would speak. Shall we receive good from God, and shall
we not receive evil?" Job 2:9&10
God does all that
His plan has laid out for history, and that plan was established before the
foundations of the world, and all that He does is for His glory and for your
good.
“God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in
Him.” John Pipper
