1Ch 29:11
Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the
victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is
yours. Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all.
1Ch 29:12 Both riches
and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and
might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all.
1Ch 29:13 And now we
thank you, our God, and praise your glorious name.
1Ch 29:14 "But
who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able thus to offer
willingly? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you.
1Ch 29:15 For we are
strangers before you and sojourners, as all our fathers were. Our days on the
earth are like a shadow, and there is no abiding.
1Ch 29:16 O LORD our
God, all this abundance that we have provided for building you a house for your
holy name comes from your hand and is all your own.
We need to say this about our salvation and remember it every
day!
I like what John Piper has to say about the gospel;
“The critical question for our generation—and for every
generation—
is this: If you could have heaven, with no sickness, and with all the
friends you ever had on earth, and all the food you ever liked, and
all the leisure activities you ever enjoyed, and all the natural beauties
you ever saw, all the physical pleasures you ever tasted, and no
human conflict or any natural disasters, could you be satisfied with
heaven, if Christ were not there?”

Love you all!
