I am so glad that we have had the opportunity to look at the mighty, glorious, sovereign purpose of the counsel of our God this month!

Eph 1:11  In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,

Isa 46:9  remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me,

Isa 46:10  declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, 'My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,'

Never spend one moment wondering if God will be able to work things out for your good and for His purpose. Because it is absolutely going to come about the way His counsel declares it!

Isa 40:12  Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand and marked off the heavens with a span, enclosed the dust of the earth in a measure and weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance?

Isa 40:13  Who has measured the Spirit of the LORD, or what man shows him his counsel?

Isa 40:14  Whom did he consult, and who made him understand? Who taught him the path of justice, and taught him knowledge, and showed him the way of understanding?

It does not take a lot of discernment to know that it is surely not me or you who has done any of these things.

Job 12:16  With him are strength and sound wisdom; the deceived and the deceiver are his.

Job 12:17  He leads counselors away stripped, and judges he makes fools.

Job 12:18  He looses the bonds of kings and binds a waistcloth on their hips.

Job 12:19  He leads priests away stripped and overthrows the mighty.

Job 12:20  He deprives of speech those who are trusted and takes away the discernment of the elders.

Job 12:21  He pours contempt on princes and loosens the belt of the strong.

Job 12:22  He uncovers the deeps out of darkness and brings deep darkness to light.

What a list of the various people that are listed here!

Deceived, and the deceiver.

Counselors, and judges.

Kings, and priests.

Those who are trusted, and elders.

Princes, and the strong.

So we would be safe in saying that all people are under His control!

And we also would be safe in saying that His control is in all matters of creation.

He is the one who is strength and sound wisdom.

He leads.

He looses.

He leads.

He deprives.

He pours contempt.

He uncovers the deeps.

He brings deep darkness to light.

And then, as if that weren’t enough, he goes on to say;

Job 12:23  He makes nations great, and he destroys them; he enlarges nations, and leads them away.

Job 12:24  He takes away understanding from the chiefs of the people of the earth and makes them wander in a pathless waste.

Job 12:25  They grope in the dark without light, and he makes them stagger like a drunken man.

Job 12:13  "With God are wisdom and might; he has counsel and understanding.

Job 12:14  If he tears down, none can rebuild; if he shuts a man in, none can open.

Job 12:15  If he withholds the waters, they dry up; if he sends them out, they overwhelm the land.

When you contemplate life and all of the things pertaining to the universe, and creation, it doesn’t take you long (if you are honest) to discover that you do-not have wisdom and might nor counsel and understanding. And no one can do anything to reverse whatever He does. So, “let not your heart be troubled, believe in God!”

Job 12:10  In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.

Job 12:11  Does not the ear test words as the palate tastes food?

Job 12:12  Wisdom is with the aged, and understanding in length of days.

Give thanks to your creator today for your life that you have, because it is in His hands for all mankind.
