Psa 37:4  Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

If your true delight is in the LORD then the true desires of your heart will be given to you.

A verse for 11/29/12

Php 3:1  Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you is no trouble to me and is safe for you.

Indeed it is safe to tell you over again to rejoice!

REJOICE AND BE THANKFUL!!!

Php 4:4  Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.

In order to rejoice one needs to be thankful!

A verse for 11/27/12

1Th 5:16  Rejoice always,

1Th 5:17  pray without ceasing,

1Th 5:18  give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

“give thanks in” And not necessarily for, that is the key. Although, it is still a harder thing to do, than to tell someone else to do it.

A verse for 11/26/12

1Ti 2:1  First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,

1Ti 2:2  for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.

I think that God in His Providence caused us to sit aside a day for thanksgiving in the same month that we have an election. 

A verse for 11/25/12

Psa 86:5  For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.

Call upon Him and He will forgive you with good, abounding, and steadfast love, and for that we are thankful!
