God sent an evil spirit….
1Ki 22:23 Now
therefore behold, the LORD has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these
your prophets; the LORD has declared disaster for you."
1Sa 16:14 Now
the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and a harmful spirit from the LORD
tormented him.
It is clear from Scripture that the angles, good and evil,
are under God’s control, and willingly or unwillingly they carry out God’s
purpose.
