Mar 13:33 Be on guard, keep awake. For you do not know when the time will come.
You can be sure that there was actually people there that Jesus was talking to, and those are the ones that He is telling to “be on guard, keep awake,” I would not tell you to do something that I meant for someone 2000 years from now to hear.
