2 Tim 4:9 Do your best to come to me quickly,
In the verse Paul:
A. Wants Timothy to join him as soon as possible
B. Doesn’t care when Timothy comes, he just wants to make sure that when Timothy starts his travel, he want him to travel very fast.
There is no doubt that Paul wants Timothy to join him as soon as possible. In fact (be honest) the second option is laughable and not really an option at all. But isn’t that exactly how some want us to understand
Rev 22:20 He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming quickly."
