I don’t know a lot about meditation, and I think it is
because it has not been talked about at all in the churches or from anyone that
I read. But I think we are missing out on a real blessed time by not learning
more about it. I think all too often we are kind-a afraid to get into meditating
because of the stigma that some place on it.
But I think that meditation on God and His word should be an
ongoing practice and that we overlook a lot in bible stories.
Like this;
2Sa 6:14 And David danced before the LORD with all his
might. And David was wearing a linen ephod.
2Sa 6:15 So David and
all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting and with
the sound of the horn.
2Sa 6:16 As the ark of the LORD came into the city of
David, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out of the window and saw King David
leaping and dancing before the LORD, and she despised him in her heart.
What do you think? Can getting so caught up in worship that
you dance in your underwear, in the street, and don’t care who sees you, or you
don’t care what they think about what you are doing, can that be a form of
meditation? I think so. And we will get more about that farther a long.
