2Pe 1:1 Simeon
Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained a
faith of equal standing with ours by the righteousness of our God and Savior
Jesus Christ:
What reason do you as a Christian have to be STEADFAST more
than a non-Christian? Because we “have obtained a faith of equal standing with
(the apostles) by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:” An
equal standing with the apostles! That comes
from a “righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ.” Remember that, it is
His righteousness not yours.
