Rom 11:33 Oh,
the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are
his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
If you feel like you are just not accomplishing much and
that you are just taking up room here, think again. God is at work in you this
day and He will accomplish what needs to be accomplished in you today; hang in
there. God is still GOD, and will forever-be GOD!
For the self-achiever read this slowly and notice the last
sentence that starts with the word, “But”
Php 3:4-7
though I myself have reason for confidence in the flesh also. If anyone
else thinks he has reason for confidence in the flesh, I have more: circumcised
on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew
of Hebrews; as to the law, a Pharisee; as to zeal, a persecutor of the church;
as to righteousness under the law, blameless. But whatever gain I had, I
counted as loss for the sake of Christ.
Paul knew that the works done in the flesh did not hold any merit
with God; He also was the prime example of steadfastness.
