Holy is our God! 8/10/14

The children of Israel were afraid of Moses and his shining face when he had seen and was reflecting the glory of God that came from His back. You can’t imagine the fearful, shining, powerful glory from His face. And yet it is the ultimate goal of every Christian to see the face of God! We want to stand in His glory! It is seen in this Jewish benediction:

Num 6:24  The LORD bless you and keep you;

Num 6:25  the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;

Num 6:26  the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
