Mat 2:7 Then
Herod summoned the wise men secretly and ascertained from them what time the
star had appeared.
Mat 2:8 And he sent
them to Bethlehem, saying, "Go and search diligently for the child, and
when you have found him, bring me word, that I too may come and worship
him."
Now, I am certain that Herod had men that were intelligent
enough to follow behind the wise men without being found out, so why didn’t he
send them along, if it was so troubling to him?
I will leave that to you to answer, (other than a chance for
Joseph to get out) look at the rest of this story, and be honest with yourself
even if you don’t like the answer, or even if you cannot understand.
