Luk 2:1 In
those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be
registered.
Luk 2:2 This was the
first registration when Quirinius was governor of Syria.
Luk 2:3 And all went
to be registered, each to his own town.
There are places in the bible that the author uses terms
like, “it just so happened,” or, some form of that. When he knows full well
that “it” did not “just so happen.”
When Caesar gave a decree, he did not know that he was, “in
the hand of the LORD.” Pro
21:1 The king's heart is a stream of
water in the hand of the LORD; he turns it wherever he will.
