2Co 7:1 Since
we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement
of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.
I am sure that you notice that this verse says, “Since we
have these promises” you need to clean-up. It does not say for you to clean-up
so that you can obtain the promises.
