it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.
Isn’t this fun! To look at just some of the promises in
God’s word? And we know that we can trust in them. This says that it is God who
is working in you, and that He is doing it for His good pleasure. Think about
what that means, He’s not doing a work in you because He want to be mean, or to
get back at you for what you did last week. NO! He is working in you for His
GOOD PLEASURE!
