A promise verse for 8/31/12

Isa 26:4  Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock.

All of God’s promises can be trusted, even when you think that they are not working.

Rom 11:33  Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!

Rom 11:34  "For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?"

Rom 11:35  "Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?"

Rom 11:36  For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

Psa 62:8  Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah

The promise that God is a refuge for us is repeated over and over in the word. Trust in him at all times!

A promise verse for 8/29/12

Psa 12:6  The words of the LORD are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times. 7  You, O LORD, will keep them; you will guard us from this generation forever

God’s word is pure and He will guard it forever! His promises are good!

Some Thoughts on The Parousia

Heb 10:23  Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.

We may falter at times, but hold on, cause He promised that He will never leave you, and He never filters, He is always faithful..

A promise verse for 8/27/12

2Co 7:1  Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.

I am sure that you notice that this verse says, “Since we have these promises” you need to clean-up. It does not say for you to clean-up so that you can obtain the promises.

Heb 13:8  Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and to-day, yea and for ever.

Unlike some people, you can always count on Him to be the same.
