Joh 6:37 All that the Father gives me will come to me….
Joh 10:14 I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me….
It seems as though we have created a caricature of God who has not the power to save us. We say that God the father has purposed the salvation of all mankind, that God the Son died to save all men and that God the Holy Spirit is trying very hard to win each and every person to Christ. When it is apparent that the majority of them are not following Him and in fact they are dying in there sin.
I know that is a hard way to say that, but what else are we to say?
To say that God is trying His best to save all, but that most will not let Him, is to say that the creator is impotent and that man is the sovereign one. Man is not the sovereign one God is.
