To say that God was surprised when man sinned, is to dethrone Him. To think that God now is working hard to remedy the problem, like He is now on the alternative plan is to strip God of His Omnipotence.
The sovereignty of God in the Bible is absolute and is infinite, and He has the right to govern the universe He made for His glory and He can do it any way that pleases Him. He has the right over the clay like the potter at his wheel to make whatever.
