Rev 3:17 For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.
Man hates to acknowledge his utter corruption and he will hotly and insistently deny it until he is taught by God that he is wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.
