Psa 119:129
Your testimonies are wonderful; therefore my soul keeps them.
Psa 119:130 The
unfolding of your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple.
Psa 119:131 I open my
mouth and pant, because I long for your commandments.
Psa 119:132 Turn to
me and be gracious to me, as is your way with those who love your name.
Psa 119:133 Keep
steady my steps according to your promise, and let no iniquity get dominion
over me.
Psa 119:134 Redeem me
from man's oppression, that I may keep your precepts.
Psa 119:135 Make your
face shine upon your servant, and teach me your statutes.
Psa 119:136 My eyes
shed streams of tears, because people do not keep your law.
I am reminded of Moses when he came down off of the mountain
from being in the presents of God and his face was shining so brightly that he
had to put a vial over his face so that the people could look at him.
So when verse 135 ask that God make His face to shine upon
your servant… I think, may-be I should hide!
