2Ti 4:2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.
Flowers and garden vegetables come on at the same season each year, but here Paul is advising young Timothy to be ready, no matter what season it may be to teach the word. We are admonished to do the same.
