10/18/14

10/18/14

Rom 12:6  Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith;
Rom 12:7  if service, in our serving; the one who teaches, in his teaching;
Rom 12:8  the one who exhorts, in his exhortation; the one who contributes, in generosity; the one who leads, with zeal; the one who does acts of mercy, with cheerfulness.

I have a friend in California, Garrett Brown, who owned a large manufacturing plant that employed a lot of people. He told me one time that you could get a lot more production and loyalty out of someone with a sincere “at-a-boy” than you could with a raise. Also someone told me that Garrett could fire you and make you feel good about it.
 I am not sure what gift that would be but I am sure it is a gift.
