Col 3:15  And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

May you have peace in your heart today and be thankful for it!

Psa 28:7  The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoices; and with my song will I praise him.

If you were able to get out of bed this morning, it is because the LORD gave you the strength to do that. So give Him thanks. If you were only able to open your ears this morning, God gave you the strength to do that also, so give him thanks!

Psa 92:1  .... It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to your name, O Most High;
Psa 92:2  to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night,

It is a good thing indeed to give thanks, for His love is steadfast and faithful.

1Ch 16:35  Say also: "Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather and deliver us from among the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name, and glory in your praise.

As Thanksgiving time come this year let's be thankful indeed! This is a great Nation that God has put us in. We need to protect, and be thankful for our place here.

Heb 13:20  Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant,
Heb 13:21  equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

 “Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity”  :::::  “And this we will do if God permits.”

11/13/14

Heb 12:2  looking to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

The way we  lay aside the weight of this life, and cast off the sin that clings to us; for the glory of God, is to see Him as sovereign!  “Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith.”   Jesus Christ is the one that went to the cross, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God; notice the tense. Right now He is there!
