Very
shortly after leaving Egypt...
Exo
14:13
And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see
the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the
Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more
for ever.
Exo
14:14
The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
The
Israelites had just left Egypt and I am sure they were so excited to
have there freedom. They had just seen God do miracle after miracle,
and they left with all the plunder form the Egyptian people. That
they had given to the children of Israel just because they ask, (see
yesterday)! And the first time they had a problem, granted it was a
big problem you can read the whole chapter 14, they got very upset
and they just knew that they were about to die then God told Moses to
tell them to “stand still!”
And
I would say to you, no matter what you are facing today, “stand
still, and see the salvation of the LORD.”
