Heb 6:1
Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to
maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of
faith toward God,
Heb 6:2 and of instruction about washings, the laying
on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
Heb 6:3 And this we will do if God permits.
In a lot of
conversations we hear someone use the term, “a good Christian.” What exactly
does that mean? I know that some people do “look” like good Christians by the
way we see their lives, but the real maturity in a Christian is up to God, not
our works. Right? “And this
we will do if God permits.”
