God loves us more than we know!

6/30/15

Psa 103:8  The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
Psa 103:9  He will not always chide, nor will he keep his anger forever.
Psa 103:10  He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities.
Psa 103:11  For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him;
Psa 103:12  as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us.

God’s love for you is great enough for Him to remove your transgressions as far as the east is from the west.

God loves us more than we know!

6/29/15

Psa 86:5  For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.

God’s love for us is abounding and steadfast!

God loves us more than we know!

6/28/15

Psa 36:7  How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.

The love that our God has for us is most precious and steadfast.

God loves us more than we know!

6/27/15

Psa 139:14  I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
Psa 139:15  My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Psa 139:16  Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.

God loves you so much that He made you wonderfully and He watches over you as you were being formed and He has written all the days of your life in His book long before any of them took place.

God loves us more than we know!

6/26/15

Col 1:16  For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.
Col 1:17  And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

God loves more than we know because He created us for Himself and He holds all things together, even us because He loves us.

God loves us more than we know!

6/25/15

Col 1:12  giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.
Col 1:13  He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son,
Col 1:14  in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

The Father loves us so much that He is the one who qualified you to have this inheritance. When you read these verses you see that He is the one getting all of the glory here for the, redemption, the forgiveness, the deliverance, He is the qualifier, He is the God who loves you!

Wednesday, June 24, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/24/15

Eph 1:11  In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,

We have obtained an inheritance because He loves us so and it was His will to give us an inheritance!

Tuesday, June 23, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/23/15

Eph 1:5  he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,

God loves you enough to predestine you before the world began. And He did that because that was His will to do that, not because you was something so special, or because you was going to offer a lot of your own merit, but just because it is His will to do that.

Monday, June 22, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/22/15

Joh 3:16  "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

God so loved! That’s the reason Christ came. Because He loves us.

Sunday, June 21, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/21/15

Jas 1:17  Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

Even when you don’t recognize it, God’s love for you, brings you, good and perfect gifts.

Saturday, June 20, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/20/15

Joh 17:23  I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.

Jesus prayed that the world would know that God loves us!

Friday, June 19, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/19/15

Joh 15:9  As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.
Joh 15:10  If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.
Joh 15:11  These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
Joh 15:12  "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

Abide! Just “ABIDE!”

Thursday, June 18, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/18/15

Psa 91:1  He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
Psa 91:2  I will say to the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
Psa 91:3  For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.
Psa 91:4  He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
Psa 91:5  You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
Psa 91:6  nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness,

Try to put this in your memory, and next time you have a sleepless night pray it back to God, and think Him for His word that He gave to us.

He will cover you, and you will not fear the terror of the night, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness!

Wednesday, June 17, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/17/15

Jer 31:3  …... I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.

God is faithful! It seems there should be a way to say that with a voice that makes the ground beneath your feet move. At any rate, He is faithful to you because He loves you, not because you deserve it.

Tuesday, June 16, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/16/15

1Jn 4:9  In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.
1Jn 4:10  In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be th propitiation for our sins.

God loves you more than you know! God even loves you more than you can ever imagine. God loves you just because He loves you, not because of anything you did or will do, not because you are good looking, not because you are anything, but because He does.

Monday, June 15, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/15/15

1Jn 3:1  See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are…..

Don’t you see what kind of love the Father has given to us?!

Sunday, June 14, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/14/15

Eph 3:17  so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
Eph 3:18  may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,
Eph 3:19  and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Eph 3:20  Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,
Eph 3:21  to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

As Paul prayed this for all the saint in Ephesus so I pray it for you.

Saturday, June 13, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/13/15

2Co 4:16  So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
2Co 4:17  For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,
2Co 4:18  as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

Whatever this day has for you, don’t think it is too heavy for you. Paul says they are light and momentary. And that they are preparing something eternal!

Friday, June 12, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/12/15

Lam 3:21  But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope:
Lam 3:22  The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end;
Lam 3:23  they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

This is a very good verse to pray to God the moment you wake every day!

Call it to mind and have hope.

Thursday, June 11, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/11/15

1Co 13:12  For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.
1Co 13:13  So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

You only know a little part of what being in the presents of our Lord and our Savior for all eternity!

Wednesday, June 10, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/10/15

Rom 8:38  For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,
Rom 8:39  nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

WOW! Love that strong has to give you comfort, if it does not give you comfort, then you need to pray that God would help your unbelief, because you don’t believe it.

Tuesday, June 9, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/9/15

Rom 15:13  May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Just a couple of meanings of the word “abound”
to occur or exist in great quantities or numbers:

to be rich or well supplied

So, abound in hope today!

Monday, June 8, 2015

God loves us more than we know

6/8/15

Rom 8:31  What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

If someone, or something seems to be against you today just remember that God is for you and no one can stand against you! No matter what!

Sunday, June 7, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/7/15

Rom 8:28  And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

I know there are times that you may not believe this. But believe, He actually does love you and is working for your good!

Saturday, June 6, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/6/15

Joh 15:13  Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.

Oh how He loves you, Oh how He loves me, Oh how He loves you and me!

Friday, June 5, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/5/15

Isa 40:28  Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.
Isa 40:29  He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.
Isa 40:30  Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted;
Isa 40:31  but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting Creator! Just wait and don’t grow weary.

God loves us more than we know!

6/4/15

Pro 17:17  A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

Jesus is a friend that sticks closer than a brother.

Wednesday, June 3, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/3/15

Psa 34:8  Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!

All through this day and every day, take refuge in Him. Because He loves you so much.

Tuesday, June 2, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/2/15

Psa 27:5  For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock.

When I think of being covered, I think of the covering of the blood that makes you holy in God’s sight. Just because He loves us so much!

Monday, June 1, 2015

God loves us more than we know!

6/1/15

God loves us more than we can know or even imagine. And His word is an encouragement for us.

2Ti 3:16  All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
2Ti 3:17  that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

I pray that you would be complete, and equipped.

God's word, 5/31/15

5/31/15

1Co 4:7  For who sees anything different in you? What do you have that you did not receive? If then you received it, why do you boast as if you did not receive it?

I guess that a “good Christian”  would give all the glory to God, and rightly so because, “What do you have that you did not receive?”

Saturday, May 30, 2015

God's word, 5/30/15

5/30/15

Joh 3:27  John answered, "A person cannot receive even one thing unless it is given him from heaven.

You know that I teach that you are responsible! And that God is sovereign! So knowing that do the best you can with the day you have before you and always know that you cannot receive even one thing unless it is given you from heaven. Even maturity in your walk with Him.

God's word, 5/29/15

5/29/15

Php 2:12  Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,
Php 2:13  for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

Do all that you can to do the right thing, and don’t be worried about your failings because, it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.”

Thursday, May 28, 2015

God's word, 5/28/15

5/28/15

Heb 6:1  Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,
Heb 6:2  and of instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
Heb 6:3  And this we will do if God permits.

In a lot of conversations we hear someone use the term, “a good Christian.” What exactly does that mean? I know that some people do “look” like good Christians by the way we see their lives, but the real maturity in a Christian is up to God, not our works. Right? And this we will do if God permits.”

God's word, 5/27/15

5/27/15

Joh 12:46  I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness.

Don’t remain in darkness.

God's word, 5/26/15

5/26/15

Psa 139:4  Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O LORD, you know it altogether.
Psa 139:5  You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me.
Psa 139:6  Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it.

When you try to think of God’s love for you, it is to wonderful to take in and your mind cannot attain it.

Monday, May 25, 2015

God's word, 5/25/15

5/25/15

Psa 139:1  …. O LORD, you have searched me and known me!
Psa 139:2  You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar.
Psa 139:3  You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways.

You are never left alone! Even in your darkest of days. So always be thankful, as the song says and the word bares it to be true.

“His eye is on the sparrow and I know He watches me.”

He sees you. Right now, what every is going on.

God's word, 5/24/15

5/24/15

Jas 1:27  Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

How many orphans and widows have you looked after this week?

Saturday, May 23, 2015

God's word, 5/23/15

5/23/15

Jud 1:4  For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Don’t you know that even the people in your life that are trying to pervert the grace of God in your life were designated for that purpose? Of course you do.

Friday, May 22, 2015

God's word, 5/22/15

5/22/15

Pro 19:21  Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand.

Be diligent and plan your way as best you can and if your plans workout or if they go awry, trust God.

Thursday, May 21, 2015

God's word, 5/21/15

5/21/15

Lam 3:37  The will of the Lord alone is always carried out.

No matter what this day brings to you, good or bad, don’t use a lot of your allotted hours in despair or worrying about it. Trust God and know that His will is carried out and that it is always for His glory and for your good.

God's word 5/20/15

5/20/15

Pro 21:1  The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; he turns it wherever he will.

John Newton, the author of “Amazing Grace” said;

The kings of the earth are continually disturbing the world with their schemes of ambition.  They expect to carry everything before them, and have seldom any higher end in view, then the gratification of their own passions.  But in all they do they are but servants of this great King and Lord, and fulfill his purposes, as the instruments he employs to inflict prescribed punishment upon transgressors against him, or to open a way for the spread of his Gospel. . . . They had one thing in view, he had another.

Tuesday, May 19, 2015

God's word 5/19/15

5/19/15

Exo 11:2  Speak now in the hearing of the people, that they ask, every man of his neighbor and every woman of her neighbor, for silver and gold jewelry."
Exo 11:3  And the LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians.

later;

Exo 12:35  The people of Israel had also done as Moses told them, for they had asked the Egyptians for silver and gold jewelry and for clothing.
Exo 12:36  And the LORD had given the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked. Thus they plundered the Egyptians.

What in the world are the Egyptians doing? They are freely giving the Israelites anything they ask for. Silver, and gold jewelry and possibly lot of other stuff because it says that “they plundered the Egyptians!” And the Egyptians gave them all that stuff on their own “free will” because God is sovereignly in control.

God's word 5/18/15

5/18/15

1Co 8:6  yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.

Jesus Christ (God) caused and sustains all things. That means that in the farthest reaches of the universe there is not one atom that is not kept in its place without Him!

God's word 5/17/15

5/17/15

Col 1:16  For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.
Col 1:17  And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.

We can go our way in a lot of days and not give thought to the wonders of our God, and the mighty gloriousness of His power.

“in him all things hold together!”

Saturday, May 16, 2015

God's word 5/16/15

5-16-15

Heb 1:3  He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

When we remember the first chapter of Genesis and how much God did just by His word (“and God said”) it is no wonder that He upholds the universe by His word.

Friday, May 15, 2015

God's word 5/15/15

5/15/15

Jer 18:4  And the vessel he was making of clay was spoiled in the potter's hand, and he reworked it into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to do.

He is the potter and we are the clay. There is an old song that says, “All I had to offer Him was brokenness and strife
But he made something beautiful of my life”

Even when the clay of your life seems spoiled the potter can rework it into whatever seems good to Him. We serve a potter that love us and He is sovereign.

Thursday, May 14, 2015

God's word 5/14/15

5/14/15

Col 1:19  For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell,
Col 1:20  and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.
Col 1:21  And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds,
Col 1:22  he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him,

Now we know full-well that we are in fact not holy and blameless and above reproach…. But He has reconciled us; He has done it! By His life and death and resurrection. He is our holiness and our blamelessness and He see us as without reproach.

Wednesday, May 13, 2015

God's word 5/13/15

5/13/15

He saved us because of His mercy! And now we are heirs! Wow!

Tit 3:5  he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,
Tit 3:6  whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
Tit 3:7  so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Tuesday, May 12, 2015

God's word 5/12/15

5/12/15

We know that when God has done a thing no one can undo it or change it in anyway!

Joh 10:28  I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.

God's word 5/11/15

5/11/15

When He made the chose to draw you unto Jesus Christ (before the world began) He did that in order to conform you to the image of His Son.

Rom 8:29  For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son

God's word 5/10/15

5/10/15

Jesus also said; “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him.”

Joh 6:44  No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.

Saturday, May 9, 2015

God's word 5/9/15

5/9/15

Jesus said; “All that the Father gives me will come to me.”

Joh 6:37  All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.

So, since your name was written before the world began, we can say that the Father has given you to Jesus.

Friday, May 8, 2015

God's word 5/8/15

5/8/15

I want you to know that the bible is very sure of the fact that your name is in the book of life before the foundations of the world! Let’s let God be God and all other not. OH what a glorious thing that is!

Rev 13:8  and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain.

Rev 17:8  The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to rise from the bottomless pit and go to destruction. And the dwellers on earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel to see the beast, because it was and is not and is to come.

Eph 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,

Eph 1:4  even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him.

God's word 5/7/15

5/7/15

The reason that God gives life to the dead man on the bed, is not because the dead man did a work and reached out, but it is because of His (God’s) own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began!

2Ti 1:9  who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began,

Wednesday, May 6, 2015

God's word 5/6/15

5/6/15

We see sinful man as very sick, we paint the picture of sinful man, laying in the bed, too weak to get out on his own. When someone comes to his bedside with the magic cure for his sickness and says to him; “here, I have provided a cure for you, reach out and take this that I bring to you and you will live, all you have to do is take it. Oh please, reach out and take it.” But the bible says that that man in the bed is dead, he cannot reach out and take the medicine, what the man really needs is to be born again, made alive, before he can reach out, before he can do anything.

Eph 2:4  But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us,
Eph 2:5  even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—

Eph 2:6  and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

God's word 5/5/15

5/5/15

Rom 9:10  And not only so, but also when Rebekah had conceived children by one man, our forefather Isaac,
Rom 9:11  though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or bad—in order that God's purpose of election might continue, not because of works but because of him who calls—
Rom 9:12  she was told, "The older will serve the younger."
Rom 9:13  As it is written, "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated."
Rom 9:14  What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God's part? By no means!
Rom 9:15  For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion."
Rom 9:16  So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy.

In our civilized society we don’t like a God that is really God. We want, instead to be god for ourselves. I think that is because we do not have a high enough view of the Holiness of God.
