Ecc 1:7 All
streams run to the sea, but the sea is not full; to the place where the streams
flow, there they flow again.
The new year is really just another day on the calendar, but
somehow we make it more than that. We view it like a new start, another chance,
and in a scene it is; “to the place where the streams flow, there they flow
again.”
Take some to think about the new year that is coming up and decide
now to walk through the year by faith, faith that God is “working all things
according to the counsel of his will” faith to know “it is God who works in
you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.” And knowing; “Not that we are sufficient in
ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God!”
