1Co 1:18  For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Another version puts it like this, “For the preaching of the cross,” telling the gospel, the word. The whole bible is really all about the gospel; preach the word! Read the word and see the gospel in it, see the cross of Christ, see the redemption of God, all of the word points you to the cross, and the power, and the love, and the grace of God toward sinful man!
