Psa 51:1 …A Psalm of
David,… Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to
your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions.
Thought;
To know God, is to know that He is merciful, and that His
love is steadfast, and He is a just and a holy God, but I am so glad that He
gives us mercy because of His justice. God will never violate His justice, He
will never say, “Oh I love you so much that I will overlook that.” NO!
His justice will not allow that. This is why Jesus Christ came; to pay
the penalty for sin. And now God is just in given us mercy.
