Psa 3:3  But you, O LORD, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.

Can you remember as a child being found “Guilty” of something having you parent take your chin in there hand as you had your head hung down and they lifted your head until your eyes met there’s?  Then all at once the pain was gone and you felt forgiveness and the love they had for you. God, our God is the lifter of our head.

Mat 11:29  Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Mat 11:30  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

As God revels Himself to us in the word it helps us to know Him better.

Man oh man! He is able to guard! Not me.
