Rom 11:35 "Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?"
Rom 11:36 For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

How many times have you read this? One of the most amazing things about this is verse 32, and then He gives us the next 4 verses. Now there is something for you to focus on all day long.

The word specks of eternity as a place…. That’s something to think about this day.

Job 42:3 'Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?' Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.

The things of God are so beyond, even our understanding, they are things that are to wonderful for us. The book of life, and eternity are great for us to ponder but God said, through Isaiah in 55:8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD.”

We never have the right to be puffed-up because of our merit, because we don’t have any merit. I just want you to know that the word of God teaches that God has a book with your name it in. And that God made a plan long before you, and He will carry out His plan.

You are a vessel of mercy and, you are because God said so before! Before you ever had a chance to mess it up, or before you ever had a chance to earn it somehow, or even before you ever came along. It is for His glory that He did it, not because of any merit you may think you have.

This is the commit I made yesterday; “It is the will of the Father for us, you and me, to be delivered from this evil age! And to deliver us into His presents in eternity!” You know why it is His will? Because; “He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world”

It is the will of the Father for us, you and me, to be delivered from this evil age! And to deliver us into His presents in eternity!

1Pe 1:12 It was revealed to them that they were serving not themselves but you, in the things that have now been announced to you through those who preached the good news to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, things into which angels long to look.

Eternity in heaven is going to be such a wonderful thing that even the angels long to know what it will be like.
Just put that in your pocket and carry it around with you today! It is something wonderful to ponder!

I told you that eternal life was a mystery. God is eternal life?

1Jn 5:13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life.

The more we read the word of God the more we know that we have eternal life!

2Co 3:16 But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed.
2Co 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
2Co 3:18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

I trust that God is transforming me into the same image of my Lord and Saviour. Even though you may feel like the process is slow, trust the Spirit of the Lord. He is the Lamb that was slain before the foundations of the world, and He is the one that put the names in the book, and He is doing the transforming.

2Co 4:17 For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,
2Co 4:18 as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

Like I said yesterday, you can’t get your mind around that. Everything we see and touch is created and it will pass away but the things that are eternal are what we can’t see, but it is going on all around us right now!

Eternal! The word is a mystery. We try to relate it to time, but it has nothing to do with time. Eternity is a complete different dimension; it has nothing to do with time. Don’t lose heart even if you see this life wasting away, because we are being prepared for another dimension, ETERNITY with GOD!! You cannot get your mind around that! But it would be a good thing to think about all day long.

Act 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed.

When your name is written in the book of life, you are appointed to eternal life, and you will believe and glorify God.

Rev 17:8 The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to rise from the bottomless pit and go to destruction. And the dwellers on earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel to see the beast, because it was and is not and is to come.

The point I want you to see here is that if your name is not written in the book of life then you have a different way of marveling at the things of this world. In 1 Corinthians 1:18 it says; “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” The Spirit, to them that have their name written in the book of life, is the magnifier of the things of the Lord. And He changes the way we see things.

Php 4:3 Yes, I ask you also, true companion, help these women, who have labored side by side with me in the gospel together with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.

I think you see by now that there are names written in the book of life and that he that overcomes, will not have his name blotted out of the book of life, and the ones that overcome are the ones that believes that Jesus is the Son of God. Hallelujah!!

After exhausting the dictionary, just in case you still have an argument, Paul says, “nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Who is, “he that overcometh?”
Well, 1 John 5:5 ask that question and gives the answer too it says; “Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?” So since we believe, He will not blot out our name!

“Passed from death to life.” I like that. How about you? I also think this is real comforting, “whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life.”

I listed some verse from the book of Revelation one of them was “Rev 20:14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire.” In the verse for today, Romans 6:23 We see that the wages of sin is death, in Revelation the verse say “Death was thrown into the lake of fire. Maybe we could think about that today.

This is talking about the beast here and the thing I want you to see that everyone will worship it except; “everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain.” There are names written in a book before the foundation of the world!

The Sovereignty of God is an expression that once was generally understood, and brought comfort to many. But today, at least in most churches, to mention Gods sovereignty is as if you were speaking in tongues.
